Columbia, Tennessee golf course home tour of a single-level ranch sitting directly on the 10th tee of the Pillow Spring public golf course in Maury County.
This Columbia, TN golf course home tour highlights a property that combines one-level living with a setting buyers rarely find. The ranch-style layout keeps everyday living simple, while the backyard opens directly to the 10th tee, and can see the 1st tee from the front porch, creating a true golf-course view rather than just being somewhere nearby.
That setting is what makes this home stand out. You get the convenience of an established Columbia neighborhood, the practicality of a single-level floor plan, and the lifestyle appeal of having a public golf course right outside your backyard.
All the details of this property discussed in this video.
131 Stoneybrook Road in Columbia, Tennessee is an established golf course home offering approximately 2,500 square feet of living space, a mostly single-level ranch-style layout, a loft, multiple updated interior spaces, a large covered back porch, and an oversized detached two-car garage.
The property is located in the Stoneybrook community beside Pillow Springs Golf Course, with the backyard positioned along the 10th tee. The neighborhood no longer has an HOA, and the first tee and clubhouse are within walking distance.
Inside, the home features an updated kitchen, vaulted living room with exposed beams and a wood-burning fireplace, flexible bonus space with a private entrance, remodeled bathrooms, and a primary suite with a large walk-in closet. The home has also received a number of improvements over the years, including updated windows, a new roof, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, refinished hardwood floors, and energy-efficiency upgrades.
One of the strongest lifestyle features is the combination of an established Columbia neighborhood, mature trees, golf course access, flexible living space, and proximity to Columbia and downtown Columbia. At the time of the video, the home was also being offered at nearly $100,000 below its appraised value.
Would you live on a public golf course if it meant single-level ranch-style living?
That’s exactly what we have here at 131 Stoneybrook Road in Columbia, Tennessee. Let’s take a look at this unique Middle Tennessee property.
131 Stoneybrook is located in the established Stoneybrook community in Columbia, TN, adjacent to the newly redesigned Pillow Springs Golf Course. It is one of only two golf courses in Columbia and the only one that does not require private club dues.
This home sits directly along the 10th tee, with the golf course just beyond the backyard.
The home offers approximately 2,500 square feet with a mostly ranch-style layout plus a loft, giving you additional flexible living space. Outside, the front porch swing and mature surroundings give the property that classic Tennessee feel.
One of the biggest lifestyle advantages here is the golf course. The first tee and clubhouse are also just a short walk from the home, and later in the tour we’ll take a closer look at the course and the surrounding Stoneybrook community.
Inside, one of the first major updates is the kitchen.
The kitchen was remodeled in 2024 and features white cabinetry, double ovens, generous counter space and an oversized island. It connects naturally with the dining area and provides access to the covered back porch.
Just beyond the kitchen is a large bonus room and laundry area with direct access to the backyard.
This space offers a lot of flexibility. It could be used as a recreation room, additional living space, hobby area or potentially another sleeping area depending on a buyer’s needs. It was previously used as a hair salon and has its own private entrance as well as a half bath.
The laundry area also includes a whole-home water softener and hybrid water heater. Luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed in this room in 2023, the same year the roof and hybrid water heater were replaced.
Back toward the center of the home, you’ll find an open farmhouse-style pantry area before entering the main living room.
The living room is one of my favorite parts of this house. It features a vaulted ceiling, exposed wood beams and a true wood-burning fireplace, giving the home a character that can be difficult to reproduce in newer construction.
Above the living room is a loft that provides even more flexible space. It could work as an office, craft area, reading space or additional sleeping area, and it overlooks both the main living room and the golf course.
This home has been owned by the same family for more than 30 years, and that history is reflected in some of the finishes and personality throughout the property.
The hardwood floors in the entry, kitchen and dining areas were sanded and refinished in 2026, and the kitchen was also repainted.
Down the hallway are two secondary bedrooms connected by a Jack-and-Jill-style bathroom arrangement. The guest bathroom was remodeled in 2025 and includes a quartz countertop, executive-height vanity and standing shower.
Across the hall is the owner’s suite.
The primary bedroom includes a large walk-in closet and updated double-hung vinyl windows. Those windows were installed in 2015, providing improved energy efficiency and lower maintenance compared with the original windows.
The primary bathroom was remodeled in 2019 and includes dual sinks, a vanity or storage area, a claw-foot tub and a large walk-in shower with decorative tile accents.
The owners have made numerous improvements to the property over the years.
In 2015, double-hung vinyl windows were installed.
In 2018, a whole-home surge protector and additional attic insulation were added.
In 2019, the primary bathroom was remodeled and solar-powered attic fans were installed.
In 2020, OmniShield smoke detectors and fire alarms were added.
In 2023, the home received a new roof, luxury vinyl plank flooring in the bonus room and a hybrid water heater.
The kitchen was remodeled in 2024.
The guest bathroom was remodeled in 2025.
And in 2026, the hardwood floors were sanded and refinished, while the owner’s suite and kitchen received fresh paint.
Outside, the home has a large covered back porch of approximately 20 by 20 feet, providing plenty of space for outdoor living. There is also a separate area that has previously accommodated a hot tub.
The backyard includes mature trees, a fire pit, storage shed and plenty of usable lawn space.
One of the most useful features is the detached oversized two-car garage.
The driveway is long enough to accommodate multiple vehicles and potentially RV parking. Inside the detached garage, there is additional electrical capacity, a workbench and electric heat. The previous car lifts do not convey, but the garage has enough space to accommodate that type of setup.
And now we get to one of the biggest reasons this Columbia home is different: Pillow Springs Golf Course.
The clubhouse, parking area and golf facilities are immediately adjacent to the Stoneybrook neighborhood. The course was formerly known as Stoneybrook Golf Course and has undergone significant renovations as Pillow Springs.
The backyard of 131 Stoneybrook sits right along the 10th tee, giving the property a direct connection to the golf course without requiring membership in a private club.
The Stoneybrook community also no longer has an HOA, so there is no monthly homeowners association fee.
One of the enjoyable features of living here is the open, established setting surrounding the golf course. During appropriate times outside normal play, residents may also enjoy walking around the course area for exercise and recreation.
The first tee and clubhouse are within walking distance of the property. The clubhouse typically offers food service as well, adding another convenient amenity close to home.
Stoneybrook also offers an interesting location advantage.
The neighborhood sits off Campbellsville Pike rather than having homes directly fronting one of Middle Tennessee’s busier surface roads. The golf course creates additional separation between portions of the community and the surrounding roadway.
At the same time, you’re still approximately 10 minutes from Columbia and around 15 minutes from downtown Columbia, giving you access to shopping, restaurants and everything the city has to offer.
And there is one more significant part of the value story with 131 Stoneybrook.
At the time this video was recorded, the home was being offered at nearly $100,000 below its appraised value.
That potentially gives a buyer room to personalize or update some of the more cosmetic elements of the property while purchasing a home with a combination that is increasingly difficult to reproduce: an established Columbia neighborhood, mature trees, single-level living, a large lot, detached garage and direct access to a public golf course.
If you’re considering moving to Columbia, Tennessee, or looking for a golf course home in Middle Tennessee, 131 Stoneybrook offers a combination of lifestyle, space and location that deserves a closer look.
